The British focus on the Russian extreme market
Business meeting of representatives of Moskau Messe exhibition company and the Extreme Sports Company holding – the most famous extreme brand in the world – was held again in Moscow today, December the 1st. EXTREMEX foreign affairs manager, Sayana Sanzhieva, together with EXTREMEX head manager, Denis Tsukanov held negotiations with Managing Director of Extreme Destinations (a division of Extreme International), Brett Million and Marketing Director, Andrew Moultrie.
During the talks, they discussed a number of organizational issues regarding their cooperation. First of all, London’s visitors were reported on the results of a successful last week’s EXTREMEX presentation where it was announced that “Sokolniki” to become the main platform in Moscow for the development of extreme industry. The festival scheduled to be held in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre in May-2012, is one of the main tools for promoting extreme sports in the country. It is planned to build a variety of objects in the park which are to become part of the zonal extreme park.
The guests appreciated the park’s reconstruction and reaffirmed their interest in participating in the project. According to Andrew Moultrie, the Russian market is one of the top-priority directions of the holding business, and recently some partnership agreements from Moscow to Sochi have been signed. According to the both parties, their cooperation should not be restricted by the only project in 2012. It is more logical to talk about long-term cooperation until the end of the construction time of extreme objects in Sokolniki park in 2016. In the near future a detailed agreement to be prepared. |
