Winter Rehearsal of the EXTREMEX Festival
On February 9, 2013 Ski & Snowboard Show, the I All-Russian Jibbing Competition-Show shall take place within the framework of preparatory schedule for EXTREMEX, Moscow main park extreme festival. Famous Russian pro-riders, including members of mountain ski and snowboard national teams, are to take part in the event. Pro-riders from Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, and Smolensk have also confirmed their participation. The show is to unfold on The Gorka premises in Sokolniki Park.
The event will be a "jam-session", a popular European and US format. Snow Park units are to be installed on the 200 metre slope. During the "jam-qualification" the participants shall have several attempts, trying to impress the referees with their most effective stunts. The best Pro-riders will reach the finals to determine the best of the best of the contest. The sportsmen shall accelerate with the help of a hoist. The Gorka shall feature an observation platform, a DJ-zone, and a special extreme café. All performances shall be commented by Yuri Pashkov, an extreme sports' expert, cable wakeboarding ex-champion, and a popular TV and radio anchorman. The tournament’s special guest – DJ Panda, ex-member of DaBudz crew. Entrance – free.
