Presentation of EXTREMEX project to take place on November 25

On November 25, 2011 at 2 pm, a presentation and press conference of the major project of extreme industry in Russia - International Festival of accessible and elitist kinds of extreme sports, recreation, and tourism “EXTREMEX” to be held in pavilion 7 of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. The project is officially supported by the Council of Federation, Ministry for Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy, as well as Government of Moscow.

Topics to discuss:

The project’s concept. What is the thing? Why is the project supposed to be the main extreme event of in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe?
Extreme in government. EXTREMEX Festival is part of the city and the federal program for the development of extreme sports, recreation and tourism.
Extreme and business. Sokolniki Park for Leisure and Recreation and Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre designed to be an extreme-platform number 1 combine the efforts of the major industry players. We are to discuss how EXTREMEX festival will promote extreme sports, recreation and tourism in Russia.

Among the participants:

Festival organizing committee, management of Sokolniki Park and Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, famous Russian pro-riders, representatives of extreme industry, show business stars, journalists, as well as industry specialists.

EXTREMEX Festival to be held in pavilions of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre from 24 to 27 of May 2012. In addition, in spring 2012, it is planned to launch the first open extreme-park area of 2,000 square meters in Sokolniki Park.
