A working group for the preparation of the show-program of the International show-exhibition of available and elite kinds of extreme sports, recreation and tourism Extreme World Expo Show (Extremex) to start forming this week.

From May 24 to 27, 2012, a large-scale exposition, conference-halls, chill-out zones, a photo gallery, recreational area and a cinema hall for the demonstration of extreme video, to be located in the pavilions of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. Directly for pro-riders’ performances, 2,000 square meters to be allocated inside one of the pavilions, as well as outdoor playgrounds. A team of experts is to convene the first meeting to discuss the concept of building the show-zone, which is to be dedicated to both summer ground and water extreme, and winter sports.

Also this week, Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre to be attended by some representatives of famous Russian pro-riders to negotiate terms of participation and the format of presentations. A concert with cult bands and DJs to be held within the festival’s entertainment part.

Recall that the event to be supported by the Federation Council Commission on Physical Culture, Sports and Development of the Olympic Movement, The Ministry for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, and Physical Education and Sports Department of Moscow.
