Fashion Extreme special show and exhibition of extreme clothes to be held in Russia for the first time
Fashion Extreme show and exhibition, devoted to clothing, footwear and accessories for extreme sports and activities, and for everyday use by people with an active lifestyle is to be held within EXTREMEX Festival on May 24-27, 2012. There has never been held similar projects in Russia. There are several well-known exhibitions of sports brands of clothing and footwear targeted at industry professionals, as well as fair projects designed for the mass segment. In contrast to these events Fashion Extreme would present as specialized ammunition – wetsuits, helmets, board shorts, jackets, as just world famous brands, covering the full range of fashionable clothes for sports and everyday life.
The evolution of brand originally created for the extreme, and later beloved by the general public, is gaining momentum in our country. There are a lot of examples. Thus, DC Shoes brand focused on skateboard men has become an integral part of modern street culture, not only in the USA but also in Russia. Reef, Roxy and Quiksilver surf brands have become perfectly natural clothing for young people in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Yekaterinburg and other cities.
In addition to the extreme brands, large companies operating in the traditional segment are to be presented in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. It’s not a secret that such monsters as Adidas, Reebok, and Nike began to run annual series of products for extreme sports.
Moreover, the event organizer, Moskau Messe Company, is preparing a special fashion demonstration of the summer collections of clothes and shoes of 2012 to be held in the days of the festival. Stay tuned for the news on the official EXTREMEX Festival website.
