Closing the Wakeboarding Season in Sokolniki
The Putyayevskie Ponds in Sokolniki Park have seen the conclusion of the 2013 summer wakeboarding season. The final event was the Vertigo Games supported by IWWF.
Kickers, quarter pipes, and other stunt structures were specially delivered from Rostov-on-Don. Pro riders shocked the crowds with breath-taking push-and-pull winch stunts but they suffered tough competition for the audience’s sympathy from boys and girls under fifteen who clashed in junior contests.
We would like to remind you that the Wakeboarding Club was launched in Sokolniki Park in June 2013 in the context of EXTREMEX. Independence, Moscow’s biggest park extreme event.
