Sokolniki Park will celebrate Independence Day of Russia under a purpose of extreme sports. The extreme zone will include a skate park, rock-climbing wall, artificial surfing wave, and wakeboarding club on Putyayevskie ponds. There will also be a children’s Panda-park opened for little adventurers.
 

The skate park’s area - 2 500 square metres - will have a roofing structure for comfortable skating in rainy weather. A rock-climbing wall for international competitions will be located nearby. EXTREMEX. Independence, the 2nd International Extreme Sports festival will open on June 12th in Sokolniki Park and will run until June 16, 2013.
