Wakeboarding Invades Sokolniki
Yesterday Putyayevskie Ponds saw the launch of a push-and-pull winch within the framework of the EXTREMEX. Independence festival. Now you can wakeboard your head off in Sokolniki. Pro-riders from WakeWorld Russia were the first to put the new facility to the test. The opening ceremony was attended by a Forbes special photojournalist and the Moscow & Environs Show crew from the Moskva (Moscow) 24 TV-channel. Nikolai Suchkov, a famous Moscow pro-rider put the show’s host on a board and conducted master-classes for the lucky visitors. In late June a wakeboarding school led by Yuri Pashkov, a famous TV-Radio host, cable wakeboarding ex-champion of the world, will be established under the current wakeboarding club.
