The EXTREMEX. Independence Festival of extreme sports, recreation and tourism is to be held on June 12-16, 2013 in Sokolniki. The project is currently the largest park extreme festival in Russia. As you already know, the exposition and interactive areas will be placed on the open grounds of the park. The main extreme games arena, housing a colorful show-program, will be located in front of Pavilion 2.

For the entire 5 days of the event a movie festival of extreme videos is to take place. A summer movie theater will be built in the central part of the park, with daily showcases of popular extreme sports movies and riders' profiles, as well as presentations of brand new videos. Viewers will dive from one element to another – from mountain skiing and snowboarding to surfing and kiting. Russian and foreign pro-riders will be among special guests of the movie festival, as well as sports and show-business celebrities.
